1. Who we are
Inspire PE is operated by Jordan Hamilton trading as Inspire School Sport.
- Operator
- Jordan Hamilton trading as Inspire School Sport
- Data protection contact:
- Jordan Hamilton
- Location:
- United Kingdom
2. Information we process
- Account information such as name, email address, authentication information and user role.
- School membership, invitation and access information.
- Subscription, billing and purchase-request information, including school and contact details supplied for purchasing.
- Saved lessons, AI adaptations and class-context information where a teacher chooses to save an adaptation.
- Contact enquiries and service communications.
- Technical and security information generated by the service and its infrastructure providers.
- Aggregate visitor analytics including visitors, page views, views per visit, visit duration, bounce rate, source, page, device type and country. Lovable has stated that this does not create individual visitor profiles.
3. Class information and AI adaptation
Teachers can describe their class so that an existing Inspire PE lesson can be adapted. This may include general information about ability, SEND, EAL, confidence, equipment, space and class size.
Teachers are instructed: “Please do not enter pupil names or other information that could identify an individual child. Describe the needs of your class without identifying pupils.”
The AI adaptation process uses the original Inspire PE lesson and the class context entered by the teacher. Inspire PE does not intentionally send the teacher's identity, school ID or pupil assessment records to the generative AI adaptation function.
Lovable's AI App Context setting is disabled for Inspire PE. The Lovable account has also opted out of Lovable's optional AI model-training setting. These settings do not disable the AI adaptation feature.
4. Why we use information
- To create and administer accounts and school access.
- To provide curriculum, planning, saved-work and AI adaptation features.
- To manage subscriptions, purchases and billing.
- To provide support, respond to enquiries and maintain service security.
- To understand aggregate use of the published service and improve its operation.
- To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
5. Lawful bases
Depending on the processing, we rely on performance of a contract or steps taken before a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and legal obligations. Where a school determines the purpose of processing school-controlled personal data, the school is responsible for identifying its own lawful basis.
6. Service providers
Inspire PE uses service providers for hosting, database and authentication, edge delivery, AI, payments, sign-in and transactional email. These include Lovable/Lovable Cloud, Supabase-backed infrastructure, Cloudflare, Google/Gemini through the Lovable AI Gateway, Stripe, Google authentication and Lovable-managed email services.
We review provider and subprocessor arrangements as part of our data-protection accountability process.
7. Where information is processed
The Inspire PE database is hosted in Europe (Ireland). Some service providers or their subprocessors may process information outside the UK. Where UK personal data is transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards must be used where required.
The database location does not mean that every Inspire PE processing operation takes place in Ireland or the EU.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, contractual requirements, security and applicable legal or accounting obligations. We maintain a retention schedule and review information for deletion or anonymisation when it is no longer required.
9. Security
Current controls include authentication, email verification, role-based permissions, school-scoped access, database Row Level Security, private storage, server-side authorisation and Stripe-hosted payment handling. Security controls are reviewed as the service develops.
10. Children's information
The current Inspire PE service is intended for school staff, not child accounts. Inspire PE does not currently provide a pupil-assessment database. Teachers must not enter identifiable pupil information into the AI adaptation fields.
Any future pupil-assessment feature will be introduced only after the relevant contractual, privacy, security and data-protection impact assessment controls are completed.
11. Cookies, local storage and analytics
Inspire PE uses storage and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, session handling and service functionality. Lovable Visitor Analytics is currently enabled for aggregate traffic measurement. Lovable has stated that it records aggregate metrics and does not build individual visitor profiles. Inspire PE does not use this analytics feature to create advertising profiles.
12. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase or restrict your personal information, object to certain processing, and receive portable information. Where consent is relied upon, it may be withdrawn.
To make a data-protection request, email admin@inspireschoolsport.co.uk. Where information is controlled by a school, the school may need to handle the request and Inspire PE will assist as appropriate.
13. Complaints
Please contact Jordan Hamilton first if you have a data-protection concern. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data-protection regulator.
14. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice when Inspire PE, our service providers or our processing activities change materially. The latest version will be made available through the Inspire School Sport website.
